Setting up your Dropbox account

Uploading your photos and videos to Dropbox from Gallery

You will have to click on the main menu icon on the home screen and over there click on the gallery. After doing that you will have to click on the album which has the pictures or the videos which you would like to share. Now click on the Share option and then click on Dropbox. Now just choose which all photos and videos you would like to uploaded and after you have selected all the photos and videos just click on Next button. Now you just have to create or select a folder in your Dropbox and then you will have to click upload.
Tips: To view you’re uploads directly into albums, place them in the Images folder into your Dropbox. Or create a folder with pictures and upload them into this folder. New recordings are involuntarily uploaded to the camera, if you have switched to upload the camera function when setting up your Dropbox account on the HTC One X. If before you have not turned it on, you can open the Dropbox application and then click on the three vertical lines icon and then Turn on Camera Upload.

Viewing your uploaded photos and videos from Gallery

The folders and subfolders in the folder camera upload photos in your dropbox can be opened from the Folder. They appear as albums. Sharing the link to your Dropbox

Send the link to whole album of photos and videos in your Dropbox, so that many people can access it easily. You will have to click no the drop down icon from your gallery album screen and over there you will see Dropbox. Now just click on any album and then just click on Share option. Choose how you want to share the link to this album, for example, by e-mail or publish in your social networks.
Tip: Use the Dropbox application, if you want to share just a single photo or video. Click on the drop down icon next to the file and then click on share.

Sending the links to Dropbox files by email

No more attaching files to your e-mail. With the mail app, you can easily add links to your Dropbox files and send in their e-mail. You will have to click on the main menu icon from the home screen and over there you will have to click on Mail. If you have multiple email accounts, go to the account you want to use. Create a new e-mail and specify the / recipient or reply to an e-mail. You can do the following: Click the Attach option and then document and then select a document type. Or Click on the Attach option and then click on file if you would like to select any file type. Now you will have to click on the Dropbox. You will have to open the folder that has the desired file and then choose the files you want to send. After doing all this you just have to click on Done. After that you would be able to locate the chosen file to your email. Now just click on Send.

Keeping your documents in Dropbox

Saving an Office document to Dropbox

With Polaris Office, you can generate or unlock a document and save it in your Dropbox. For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon when you are on the Home Screen and in that you will have to click on Polaris Office. Now you can also create a new document and if not you can also open an old file. Now you just have to click on the three vertical lines icon and in that you will have to click on the file option and in that also you will have to click on Save as button. Now after that you will have to insert a new filename. And then click on the box beneath the location and then click on Dropbox. The document is in the Polaris Office folder stored in the main folder of your Dropbox folder.
Tip: When you open a document you can also click on the three vertical line icon and then click on File and then on Share and after clicking on Share you will have to click on Dropbox to upload the document to a Dropbox folder.

Editing an Office document in Dropbox

With Polaris Office, you can generate or unlock a document and save it in your Dropbox. For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon when you are on the Home Screen and in that you will have to click on Polaris Office. After doing this you will have to click on Dropbox. Now you can just open the folder or any file which you would like to edit or view. Click on the document which you want to open and then just view it. And if you are planning to do any kind of changes in that document you will have to click on Edit button. Now after you have edited the document you will have to click on the three vertical lines icon and then you will have to click on File option. Now you can just save the document or you can also save the file as a new document in your Dropbox.

Saving a PDF document to Dropbox

You can use PDF Viewer and you can open a document and save it in your Dropbox. For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon when you are on the Home Screen and in that you will have to click on PDF Viewer. Now just locate the desired PDF document and open it. Now you will have to click on the three vertical lines icon and then you will have to click on Save as. Now over there you will have to enter the filename. Now you will have to click the box which is situated below location and then you will have to click on the Dropbox option. And now just click on OK button. The document is stored in the root folder PDFViewer your Dropbox folder.
Tip: When you open a document, you can also click on the three vertical lines icon and in there you will have to go to share and in share you will have to go to Dropbox option to upload the document into a Dropbox folder.

Checking your Dropbox storage space

You can check how much available space you have in your dropbox before you upload more content.
Important: Before using the drop box displays memory information in your settings, you must first create an app (like albums) and allow access to Dropbox HTC Sense access to your Dropbox.
For doing this you will have to open the Notifications panel and after that you will have to click on the gear icon. After that you will have to click on Storage option. Among on-line store you will see the available memory Dropbox.

Unlinking HTC One X from Dropbox

You can disconnect the HTC one X from a distance from your Dropbox, if you lose your device. Log in using the web browser on your computer to the Dropbox website. How to upload your photos to SkyDrive from Gallery

For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon from your home screen and then you will have to go to gallery and then go to Albums. Now you will have to click on album which contains the photos which you required. After that you will have to click on share option and in that select SkyDrive for HTC Sense. Now you can choose one or more photos which you would like to upload, and after that you just have to click on Next button. Now choose a folder in SkyDrive, and after that just click on Done option.

How to send the links to SkyDrive files by email

In order to share files which are stored on SkyDrive using e-mail, you need not download it and attach it to your message. With the mail application, you can simply add links to your SkyDrive files and then send in their e-mail. For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon from your home screen and then you will have to go to Mail option. If you have multiple email accounts, go to the account which you would like to use. Create a new e-mail and identify the recipient or reply to an e-mail. You can do the following: Select Attach option and in that you will have to select on document and then choose a document type. Or select attach option and in that you will have to select File option, if you want to choose a file type. After you have selected any one just click on SkyDrive. Now open the folder which has the preferred file and then choose the files which you would like to send. Now just click on Done option. So as soon as you do this you will find that selected file would be added in your email. After all this process just click on Send option and it will send the email.

How to save an Office document to SkyDrive

By using Polaris Office, you can create or open a document and save it to SkyDrive. For doing this you will have to click on the main menu icon from your home screen and then you will have to go to gallery and then go to Polaris Office. Now just create or open any document. Now just click on three vertical lines icon and under that you will have to select File and in that select Save As option. Now just insert a new file name. Now just click on the box in location and then just click on SkyDrive. Now just click on Save option.
