Visual Report - Budget cost report without baseline cost
I've a project valued at only whit fixed cost, placed directly in the "Costs" field, without allocation of resources.
I saved the baseline plan and after I changed the fixed costs, and now I find the two columns, one with the "Baseline cost" (save that of the baseline plan) and the other with the new fixed costs.
When I go to generate a visual report can not find the baseline costs in the Excel PivotTable, which are always 0.
This happens to me with any type of graphical report.
Someone can help me?
Thanks!!!

The question is about MS project 2007.
Re: Visual Report - Budget cost report without baseline cost
Hello Clauz,
I'm guessing you are trying to use the Baseline Cost report which is based upon the Assignment cube. Without resources assigned, you have no costs coming from assignments and the "Baseline Cost" you see in the report are baseline assignment costs.
Most of the Visual Reports are based upon assignment data so without resources assigned, I'm afraid they won't work for you.
I'm guessing you want timescaled cost data in Excel? The best I can suggest, short of exporting the data out through VBA, is to show the data you want in the Task Usage view (right side) and carefully copy/paste into Excel.
I hope this helps.
Julie

Yes, you guessed everything.
I'm going to copy the Task Usage!
Thank you for your help!
