XFX Radeon HD 5870 Memory Clock at Idle
I interpret that at rest the GPU Clock ought to be at 157 MHz as well as the Memory Clock at 300 MHz. My memory clock is running by the side of 320 MHz idle and I can't work out why. Any ideas? I've not at all overclocked it otherwise messed through settings. Fan speed is 30% and temp roughly 45. I'm lying on 11.10 drivers.

That more often than not happens while you're running dual monitors.. If not, they almost certainly upped stuff to enable improved stability.

Clearly something's boot the clocks to those speeds as a result you'll have to carry out a few fundamental troubleshooting to observe what's what, and afterward notice if it is actually in a minute a driver version which does this if it isn't whatever thing to do with software that you're running and so forth, and after that contact AMD or else your card producer and inquire why, if it's troubling you so much.
Re: XFX Radeon HD 5870 Memory Clock at Idle
At first glance, XFX here to get it right. In the no-load operation, the clock speeds on typical 250 / 150 MHz under 3D load and lowered them to the promised increase overclocking values of 830 MHz GPU and 1300 MHz memory clock. What form the individual power levels and the voltages applied to, to clarify our following table.
