Netgear WNCE2001 does not ping without WPA installation
I took a Netgear WNCE2001 to put in a wired Ethernet device into wireless network. The wifi LAN does not make use of WPA thus I have to physically organize the device. The trouble is that while I connect an Ethernet cable to the device the lights happen on and I am able to ping 192.168.1.151 except while I attempt to connect by the use of a web browser not anything occurs. I obtain a short flash on top of the screen that is excessively quick to read except I do observe that it's from the device for the reason that I observe the word Netgear. I've tried Firefox as well as Chrome beneath Ubuntu as well as IE and Firefox beneath Windows XP. The browser does not connect at all.

If the AVR is set correctly (see the Pioneer BA), it may be just the wireless connection. Parking 'times of the encryption or only use WEP encryption.
It may be that the Netgear controller cannot communicate with the device because the WPA encryption is set. Since it has time WPA encryption problems between devices from different manufacturers given.
Re: Netgear WNCE2001 does not ping without WPA installation
The connectivity is made easy via Netgear's software solution Push 'N' Connect the equipment without the CD, simply by 'Plug & Play' realize. Push 'N' Connect make connecting to the existing network at your fingertips as a true plug-and-play. Alternatively, the adapter - for example at a router from another manufacturer - also easy to set up initially manually at each computer or laptop. This requires only the browser is called, a scan can be started and the network password will entered manually

Previously used equipment should always reset to factory settings, For new equipment, this is sometimes necessary so that you can perform the configuration as per instructions, for whatever reason...
