Unable to scroll through contacts to chat with in Google plus

I'm using chat in Google + and it's a static view. I went to check out my Google Contacts. I want to scroll through contacts to chat with this Google plus. I can't scroll all the way down the list to see the emails of people and it gives problem. I don't know of anyone else experiencing this problem yet. Any help to fix this problem will be appreciating!
