Lian Li PC-TU200 Mini-Tower PC Case Launched
Lian Li has detailed and announced the "TU200-PC", an original computer case that it had outlined last June at Computex. The latest high-end manufacturer has to recall the distinction to draw on a diplomatic bag.
The presentation of the "TU200-PC" as a variant is enriched and strengthened from the PC-Q08, which contains many aspects, starting of course with the support of the mini-ITX or Mini-DTX format. Made entirely of aluminum, this Lian Li case is relatively small, 3.15 kg only, in spite of the handle and reinforcements on the edges and corners, recalling a flight case.
Inside a case, up to four hard drives can accommodate, that are hot-swappable using screws with rubber rimmed. This leaves expected room for a graphics card, with a maximum length of 30 cm, sufficient for most graphics cards that are suitable for gaming. Device is maintained in such a way that it is intended to prevent it from bending and not break up during transport.
The breakdown of this confined space is assigned to a front fan of 140 mm in diameter, but above that of the ATX standard the user has selected carefully because it will be in charge of expelling warm air particularly generated by the processor.
Maintenance is made easier by not requiring a design tool and a minimum of screws. Levers allows easy release of side panels. Connectivity includes last two front USB 3.0 ports, one eSATA port, a headphone and microphone input. The "Lian Li PC-TU200" will be released worldwide in late September for a retail price of U.S. $ 199.
