I am assuming if anybody knows if the bypass key intended for windows auto login which defaulting is the shift key is able to be altered to whichever additional key?

KeyTweak use Microsoft's Scancode Map registry key in order to remap keyboard. Compose your keyboard further available to you via altering the normal mapping system to one that you are contented through.

When you start Windows XP normally, you see a screen with all the user names configured on the PC with its small icon to click to start windows, after entering password, your personal settings. This function is very useful but often, especially if you have only one user configured or if you want to automate the startup of the PC, it is faster to bypass this screen and directly load their computers with the default user.

There are two ways to activate the Automatic Logon Windows XP
- From the Start menu to launch the "Run" and enter this command line:
Code:
Control userpasswords2
And disable the box "To use this computer, the user must enter the name and password". Then you will be asked to enter the user name you want to load at startup and enter the password twice
.
- Directly edit the registry of windows.
- From the Start menu to launch the "Run" and type regedit and look for the following key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon;
- Right mouse button on the right side and select the registry:
- New>> String Value, name the newly created value DefaultPassword;
- Just created this string, click 2 times on it and enter the password in the Value data you want.
- Second step: click again with the right mouse button on the right side and select Registry
- New>> String Value and name AutoAdminLogon. Click 2 times on it and enter the value 1.
