Instant Search is not working in Google Chrome 13
I have just enabled the instant search option in Google Chrome. It instantaneously loads whichever pages that I typed, it’s ok. However it doesn't work while i make use of omnibar to search anything. I must push enter in order to observe the results. I have altered the Google default page within search engines options but it didn’t help at all. What do you say?
Re: Instant Search is not working in Google Chrome 13
Recall that on Google.com, the Instant Search is on the suggestions, not the request itself. But this is only the first draft for this new feature, and it has time to improve. Especially on the Google browser, it is reasonable to expect that the same system as Instant Search engine will be set up with a load not on the query terms, but the suggestion most likely. As it already includes bookmarks and history, then it could be very useful. To be continued.

To use it just have to have the latest development version of Chrome (or Canary Build date) and start it with the-enable-match-preview (in Windows, right-click the shortcut properties and add it to the end of the string "Destination").
Now when searches in the navigation bar (or omnibox), the results start to appear instantly on the page that you may be seeing, as if in the Google website.
Just do not expect that the experience is the same. Although the results appear instantly, we cannot directly access the first result as we can do it in the web interface, and does not show the results of the suggestion but of what we are looking for. That is, if we put w in the address bar does not appear the results of weather and on the web, but the w.

It requires the proper browser. Instant Search works only in modern browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 8. IE 6 and 7 do not meet the requirements, if you google.com / instant / open the message 'Google Instant is not available for your web browser. Do the problems you can always Google Instant easily be disabled via the link right next to the search field or by the institutions to reach the top by going to Settings and click on Search settings.
Re: Instant Search is not working in Google Chrome 13
The latest builds of the developer version of Chrome, which it markets under the name "Chromium" integrate, direct support of Instant Search. The feature must be activated manually by a switch.
Re: Instant Search is not working in Google Chrome 13
The interesting thing is that the search results page or directly addressed in the lower part of the current browser window will appear. If the user clicks in this new page, Chrome jumps there and closes the original page. The query into the URL bar is cleared, the new page will automatically disappear. In our test, it worked not quite accurate. Chrome crashed in principle, if the original page was clicked in the browser window.
Google should integrate the function into its Chrome browser by default, the company should see a significant increase in search queries, which could well have a positive effect on the ad sales.

This new form of Instant Search using algorithms that calculate generalizations which are the most likely outcome in which the searcher will click, and performs a pre-loaded in the background of these sites, so that when they are accessed instantly displayed.
Re: Instant Search is not working in Google Chrome 13
About the predictability of the requests, Google has made sure to avoid all words that can lead to pages with violent content, racist or pornographic. When you type "to" Google does not offer the results for "sex" but "Secret Story". And if you type "sex", then no result appears. You must click on "Search" to see the results corresponding to this request. One way to avoid bad surprises in case of typing error.
