How to make LAN over 200 meter distance
I want to establish the LAN connection between two computer systems. The distance between these two devices is to be nearly 200 meters. I want to make a connection between these two devices. Please suggest me the information related to this issue. Is it possible to make LAN connection between this two devices only with cable or not. And after establishing this connection cans this will be work clearly without any problem. Thanks.
Re: How to make LAN over 200 meter distance
There is not such kind of things possible with the CAT5 cable. Yes, the configuration of the cat5 cable has to be mention that the maximum distance between these devices is to be nearly 100 meters. If this distance goes higher than that the connection not works in proper way. In such kind of problem the repeater provide the facility to access that LAN connection within 200 meters. We all know that the repeater is to be work to extend the length of the LAN. Hence use this and make well LAN connection.
Re: How to make LAN over 200 meter distance
When used for 10/100/1000BASE-T, the maximum allowed length of a Cat 6 cable is 100 meters. The same kind of configuration of the Cat 7 cable and hence there is not possible to access the LAN connection within 200 meters. We need the repeaters kind of device to extend this LAN connection. Then try this and it will be work to solve such kind of connection.
