Looking at the situation I am having a solution but I don’t think so it is perfect one but you should try and see whether it is working or not. I let you know that whenever you share the document with the users of the Word 2007 make sure that you are sharing word file into .doc format then that of .docx format. I have found number of users who are have solved the issue on the temporary basis by using .doc file than that of the .docx file.

I have seen that the users who are having Office 2007 on the computer are having the above mentioned issue. Well I am suggesting that the Office 2007 users should install the Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 on the computer of yours. Personally I was also having the above mentioned trouble after installing the Office 2007 Service Pack 2 on the system of mine have managed to fix the problem of mines. So try the thing which I have mentioned above.
Re: Docx file is incompatible between Microsoft Word 2010 and Word 2007
I think there is a some serious bug issue in this particular situation. I recommend that you should file a bug report on this particular matter to Microsoft Development team. Well I let you know that you should provide the version of the Microsoft Office which you have installed on the computer as well as the issue which you are facing on the computer of yours. I am hoping that the Microsoft Development team would release the patch after fixing the bug on this particular issue.
