Stream AVCHD MTS/M2TS and MKV to Xbox 360 from Synology DS409+



Soon after I get Synology DS409+ as my NAS server, I set up my Xbox 360 to enable DLNA/UPnP media server and connect Xbox 360 to Synology NAS. I once face problem playing AVI videos to Xbox 360, but it is fixed after switching off the transcoding features. Now I have some AVHD files and MKV files, which could not stream to Xbox 360.

Some of the AVCHD files are from the new camcorder Lumix GH2, and some are the vc-1 files from blu-ray backup. While looking for solutions to NAS, I find Aunsoft Video Converter as the recommended Xbox 360 video converter make the .mts, .m2ts, .mkv and even .tivo videos compatible to Xbox 360.
