Intel DP45SG USB Reboots desktop
I am using Intel DP45SG Desktop Board in my computer which is Core2 Quad 3.0 GHz with operating system Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. All was going fine still last night when I tried to connect my web cam to computer through usb it suddenly start rebooting but when I restart it it does not get powered up till I unplug web cam from usb. I am really fad up of this and not able to fix the problem. Anyone can help let me know what is happening, and what is wrong with my Desktop Board.

Your problem of machine rebooting can be solved if you can go for updating each driver of your computer piece by piece . You have to go for the latest drivers which are compatible with your computer specification this will help you to resolves the problem if it is created by any of the driver issue. This will surely resolve your issue of rebooting.

This problem which you are facing may be because of the BIOS of your computer are not supporting web cam through usb. To resolve if it is because of the BIOS you have to go for updating the current bios of your computer with express bios which will solve your problem with web cam and machine is rebooting.

You might be facing this problem of rebooting of your computer because of heating problem with your computer. You can maintain its temperature keeping it between 35 for GPU and 45 for CPU by applying cooling fan which will solve problem of rebooting if its because of over heating. It can be that your usb which is connected to motherboard does not support the web cam properly.

One thing which may be behind such problem of machine rebooting can also be solved if you go for the updated to the latest chipset for your machine which defiantly resolve your problem because this might happen that chipset you are using are not supported properly by the Intel DP45SG which making machine reboot.

To resolve the problem you may try to disable settings in the BIOS as given below:
- Move to Boot Menu
- Boot to Removable Devices Disable
- Boot to Network Disable
- USB Boot Disable
- Boot USB Device First Disable
- USB Mass Storage Auto
This may fix your problem with desktop rebooting.
