Facebook developers have announced the end of the support for Internet Explorer 6.
Responding to numerous complaints from users regarding unwanted disconnections at the instant messaging module, the development team for the social networking site Facebook just announced via his blog , an update that will take place September 15 next.
If the improvements will promise stability and improved flow after internal testing, they also announce a switch to technologies that do not support an older Web browser client, but unused, Internet Explorer 6.

I found a similar information on the same and that was a bit long before. This is where Facebook end its compatibility with Internet Explorer 6, in order to improve the operation of its integrated chat. There is still lack of update on the same and there is not much information provided. Today there are higher version of internet explorer available and I found it working well on the same.
