Error 1402 while installaing Microsoft Office 2007

I am getting Error 1402. Setup cannot open the registry key - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/11.0/COMMON/GENERAL while installing Microsoft Office 2007 on Windows 7 Home Premium. I am using a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop. There are is one more system which is another laptop at my home. The edition of office which failed to install is MS Office Small Business Edition 2003. After inserting the installation disc of Office setup, I launch the installation. I am going with all express settings without modifying any changes. The setup work of sometime and then crash with error 1402. The error also states that it is not having permission to access Windows registry. In other system the setup worked well.

Try to run the setup in admin account and ensure that there is no virus in your system. Because due to some malware or virus issue, the file permission is modified. Ample of setup does not work. Try to right click on the setup file and then choose Run as > administrator. Provide your logi access and done. Follow the screen process and wait back till setup is completed.
