Running updates displays messages in fedora
Hi
I use fedora 11 as my operating system. I updated a my system a few days back it showed some messages. Do not exactly know what kind of messages are these. Please check
Quote:
/boot/initramfs-2.6.31.5-117.fc11.i686.PAE.img: contents have been changed
/lib/modules/2.6.31.5-117.fc11.i686.PAE/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau.ko: No such file or directory
delta does not match installed data
/boot/initramfs-2.6.31.6-145.fc11.i686.PAE.img: contents have been changed
delta does not match installed data
It is showing that the contents are been changed, but I have not change any of these contents. When what is the reason of such messages? any advice or help on this.

Hello
It is very hard to say from the message you have displayed in your post. It would be better if you send a more specified form of the above post. Truly no one can help you, if you do not give a proper information about the problem. Please try the following command and then try again to post back.

Re: Running updates displays messages in fedora
Hi
I think there is a change in the following
Quote:
/boot/initramfs-2.6.31.5-127.fc11.i686.PAE.img
I think you should have x86_64.imgs. This is the reason you are getting such messages. I am not sure that this is the only reason. But probably this might be the one reason for such behavior.
