Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting
I recently install windows 7 RTM 32 bit, i have noticed that windows explorer does not get refresh or update after moving or deleting folder or any file from windows. This problem occurs frequently in regular usage, while deleting image and folder from windows 7 drive.
Re: Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting
If Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting in windows 7 then you can make Windows Explorer to refresh and update after making any changes in windows Go to start and then run > type regedit > navigate for the key KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / System / CurrentControlSet / control / Update item. In the right-hand pane, click on UpdateMode and select Modify. In the Edit window, change 01 to 00. Exit everything and reboot for this to take effect.
Re: Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting
If You have some shared folders on the server. When you change these shared files from one workstation, you cannot see the changes refreshed automatically from the Windows Vista computer. This problem happend when CPU usage was at 100% and explorer was too slow updating status.
Re: Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting
To solve the problem of Windows Explorer Delete IconCache, reset folder views, turned off file sharing and network discovery, made a clean boot, A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. If that didn't solve the problem ran Windows 7 in Safe Mode (without Networking).
