I am using nokia 6300 mobile phone. Many a times i have deleted some of my important messages as well as few contacts by mistake. Can anyone tell me how to take back up of contacts and messages to the computer. Do let me know your helpful advises.:thumbup1:
Well, according to me mobile backup will not backup contacts from the SIM, it will only back up what is on the phone. I don't know whether you can take a backup of your text or not, but you can copy all your messages as well as contacts to your computer by connecting your mobile to pc. This is the only way you can save your contacts and your messages in computer.
You can use the backup option on pc suite only after connecting the phone. But the contacts stored on the SIM card won't backed up. You can simply copy all your contacts from sim to phone memory or just go to the my computer, nokia6300 phone browser and there you will get contacts and messages folder.
As per backup is concerned, you can copy your contacts to sim to keep them in a safe place and you can also backup the messages using best message storer. You can search for the software's on internet and can get the best one which will take the back up of your data more safely.
