There are some document with Organization Chart, they were created in Office XP PowerPoint. It gets open with Office 2003 PowerPoint without any issue but when i try to edit it then i get a message saying
The Microsoft Organizational Chart server application can't be found. Contact your system administrator to install this server application."
As per the article, i have tried installing MS Chart 2.0 but i keep getting the same error. Can anyone help me in getting rid of it please???
First of all i want to know if you are quite sure that those document were created in Office XP PowerPoint ? Also confirm if the Organization Chart were created using some 3rd party application of they were created in PowerPoint only.
There is a knowledge based article describing the error that you are getting. However, you seem to have tried out the solution mentioned there. Anyways just go through it once again and cross check if you have missed anything.
I guess you might have not installed MS Chart 2.0 properly or something might be wrong with it. In that case you can try uninstalling and reinstalling MS Chart 2.0 and post back if that helps. I cant think of anything else that might be causing the error.
