So many monitors detected in Device Manager
Since past few days, my computer is detecting a number of screens i.e. four screen by default although they are disabled. If I uninstall them and restart my computer, they reappears. The problem is that I am having only one monitor. And everything seems to working as normally. Then what may be the cause of this detection? Why I am getting so many monitors in Device manager?
Re: So many monitors detected in Device Manager
"Default Screen" is a screen without drivers or Windows does not recognize if one day you connect it. The fact that there is a corresponding number of redundant entries in the registry. It should not be worried.
Re: So many monitors detected in Device Manager
Its not serious, but it's not really normal as well. May be due to installed drivers without uninstalling. I mean you might have installed the monitors drivers more than once but forgot to uninstall the older one. I think Ccleaner should help you, if not right then click on "Default Screen" and uninstall.
Re: So many monitors detected in Device Manager
Thank you for your help.
I tried using Ccleaner, and also uninstalled using RegSeeker but nothing happens after I restart I am still left with 4 "default screen"! I even tried cleaning (a little hard anyway) of all screens by default in the BDR, the restart results the same! This must be a process or service that installs it, but which one? How software has been able to install this junk?
