Paste function not available in windows clipboard
hi,
I have Windows operating system. In my windows clipboard, I can see everything - cut, copy, refresh, etc, but "paste" functionality seem to be missing. I thought it might be problem while booting, so I even tried to reboot but still "paste" option is not available..
Can anybody knows why "paste" function is not available in windows clipboard and how can I restore or bring it back ? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions around this.....kindly help
thanks..
Re: Paste function not available in windows clipboard
Since the Paste function is being missing in your Windows clipboard, there might be some problem or error in windows clipboard.
To solve this,
Download GetOpenClipboardWindow.zip
Unzip the tool and run the file in your document. Whenever you encounter the problem, run this tool. It should report what PID is running that is hosing the function and restore functionality.
Re: Paste function not available in windows clipboard
I would like to advice you to try performing a System Restore to a date before this problem occured for the first time. While performing System Restore, you will not loose any information and it's beneficial anyways. So you can obviously give it try.
Re: Paste function not available in windows clipboard
In Windows operating system, missing functionalities in clipboard is becoming more common problem now-a-days, due to remote desktop session and the client computer sharing a clipboard, which allows data to be interchanged between applications running on the remote computer and applications running on the client computer within a remote desktop session.
