Re: Internet Shortcuts Not Working
Make sure you have all the defaults set for Firefox. Click Start/Default Programs/Set your default programs.Open Internet Options > General tab and click Delete Files button. Check Delete all offline content box and hit OK and OK.
Re: Internet Shortcuts Not Working
1. Select menu TOOLS->Internet Options
2. Click the "Delete Files..." button
3. Make sure you do NOT tick the first box - this is the bit we actually NEED to clear!
Re: Internet Shortcuts Not Working
Open Windows Explorer (or My Computer).
- Go to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types
- Select Extension: "(NONE)" File Type: "URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol"
- Click "Advanced". In the "Edit File Type" window, select "open" and click "Edit"
- Uncheck "Use DDE" (the dialog should then hide the lower part).
- Click OK for that dialog and the next one (afterwards, the "Use DDE" box is still checked but the "DDE Message" box will be cleared, as shown here)
- Repeat for Extension: "(NONE)" File Type: "URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy" (and any other protocols you want to fix)
- Repeat for Extension: "(NONE)" File Type: "Firefox URL"
- Repeat for Extension: "HTM" (or "HTML") File Type: "Firefox Document"
