How can I tell which ipaq I have
My uncle has given me an HP IPAQ as a gift on my birthday long back. It doesn't include any model number on it. Is it possible for me to know its model number? It includes all the features of a Pocket PC like Wi-Fi, bluetooth support, 256MB inbuilt memory, etc.
Re: How can I tell which ipaq I have
There are two possibilities. Which ROM version you are having? It should be something like 2.14. You can use this information to check which Pocket PX you are having. However you could also check using the ram. I mean how much RAM are you having? The ROM version along with RAM in it can help you to confirm what IPAQ you are having.

First of all what comes to my mind is that it should be under the battery. You can also find the model number under Settings -> HP Asset Viewer -> System. However it is better to call the iPAQ support before doing any experiments. It is them who can suggest you in a better way to provide the solution.

Have you tried going to \Settings\About or there should be a sticker on the back panel explaining the same. Otherwise you can also go to the Asset viewer, under the system item to find out the model number. If you still unable to find then feel free to cal HP support system for assistance.
