How to enable DreamScene video wallpaper in Windows XP
How can i Enable DreamScene Video Wallpaper in Windows XP ? Is it posible to install DreamScen on Xp or not? I was using it with windows vista, but recently downgraded to xp again, so missing that video wallpapers. Does any one know anything about it ? Thanks for any help.

Dreamscene Video Wallpaper allows you to place a movies on your desktop underneath the icons. It will allow you to use Windows DreamScene animated wallpapers on yours Windows XP or Windows Vista. You can create playlists of your favourite videos. It also screensaver which will show your favourite videos when yours computer is not used.

You can do this trick by using VLC player,
- Download and install VLC player.
- Now go to Settings > Preferences > Video > Output Modules > Direct X (Check the Advanced options box in the bottom right corner to see all settings)
- Enable Wallpaper Mode in an advanced option by checking the box next to it.
- Now again go to Settings -> Preferences, expand Interface and click on wxWidgets. In the bottom right corner click on “Advanced options” to show advanced settings.
- Then uncheck the Taskbar check box in order to remove VLC Player title from the taskbar while the program is running. Check Systray icon if you want to enable Systray icon instead.
- Click “Save” button when done.
- Now Open any video in VLC Media Player.
- Right click on the video and click on “Wallpaper”.
