Formatting Macintosh

There's anyone here have a reformat for Macintosh...please help me to reformat my macintosh apple laptop...thanks

Hi,

In Mac you call it as erase & not format.
For erasing an external hdd use a disk utility.
If you want to erase the OS & format then use the OSX CD for this
You first boot wioth the original Mac OSX CD & then press C during bootup & reformat the drive with disk utility & reinstall the OSX again.
