well all you need to do is install driver for it from your cd provided with monitor also make sure you have os working proper without any virus. try here and search for driver.
Install HP Pavilion MX70 driver:
- Download driver from net
- Right click on My computer and click Properties.
- Go to Hardware .
- select to Device Manager button.
- Find your new HP Pavilion MX70 on monitors category
- double click on device and select Reinstall Driver button.
- Select location of driver to Install , check Include this location and click Browse button after selection click Next then click Finish
There can be problem in HP Pavilion MX70 monitor due to third party application and operating system so just check this similar thread to solve problems
