Is there any Vista compatible version of Musicmatch Jukebox? I downloaded the Musicmatch 10 and installed it but its giving the error message that its not compatible with vista and but i downloaded the compatible version for vista, what to do now? some another Jukebox that works on vitsa? HAve anybody using it on vista? Thanks for any kind of help.
Try the following :
- Right-click the Musicmatch program shortcut on your desktop and select properties
- Go to the compatibility tab
- Click the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, and select "Windows 2000" directly underneath
- Also make sure that "Run this program as an administrator" under "Privilege Level" is selected
- Click on "Show Settings for All Users" and made the same selections in the box that pops up
- Start Musicmatch, and when Vista brings up the "This program has known compatibility issues" box, just click "Run program" and Musicmatch should start.
You can also install it in compatibility mode, right click on installer and in compatibility tab , run it as windows xp. this should make it work, but may be certain features won't work, it always happens with compatibility mode.
I use itunes instead of that and its works like a charm on Vista, I don't like the interface of Musicmatch. I don't like the way the new version handles my library, and I have not found a way to turn off the equalizer that distorts even my tracks that have a low bit rate, unlike MusicMatch Jukebox!
