If there is no group to manage in this game, Alpha Protocol does include many characters revolving around Michael. All these people form a network of contacts that will be directly affected by your choice during the progression. If you show a friendly clan, you will logically favor of characters associated with this clan, but might also attract the wrath of the enemy clan. These stories of relationships play a very important role in Alpha Protocol since they affect the course of your missions. Without falling into the cliche of "good and evil", the developers made sure to offer multiple solutions to each situation to create a story practically tailor-made for each player. The studio has revealed that decisions taken early in the game could affect more than a dozen hours of play later.

Access to tasks and how to complete each level will be greatly determined by the relationships you maintain with your friends.
