hy fellas
i would like to upgraded my external hard drive .so i need to transfer all the files from old one to new hard drive via a 2 gb usb drive..i'm eager to know how much time it needs to transfer all the files.the size around 140gb .. any guess in this matter??
yu may have to spend at least 45 minutes, based on the speed of the USB 2.0 in optimum even it says 480 Mbps maximum speed because of it's "Master-Slave" architecture.
which is your operating system buddy
windows vista may need much time than windows xp
there are some more factors like type of files you transfers,the speed of the external HD unit ,how much ram yu got on yur pc like that.........
