Hi,
I'm addicted to windows but loves the effects of MAC, so i was wondering if some how i can get the minimize effect of leopard in XP ? I have vista also installed on my system , its having nice effects but no like mac, in fact far behind than leopard. i don't want to do experiments with my vista , but want to try this things in XP. Thanks for any suggestions.

Minimized windows will normally be shown on the Windows Taskbar. RK Launcher provides an eye-pleasing replacement for the taskbar: whenever a window is minimized, it will automatically be placed on the shortcutsbar and will be represented by a small image of the contents of this window. This way, the user will quickly see which windows are minimized.
WindowFX also has a few genie effects same like Mac, WindowFX is part of Stardock's Object Desktop desktop enhancement suite. Search the google for it, if you haven't tried it yet.
There are many applications which supports this feature for Windows XP. Like RK Launcher already had it , you can try LeopardXP also, and i have used the RocketDock and its awesome and supports various cool add-ons also.
the only way to get the mac minimizing effect is to download XWD (Xwindows dock) this way you can get the genine effect (for xp and vista)

You can use the SwiftShader which is nice application that will allow to make then minimize effect like Apple mac into the Windows 7. Just make a search for the application and you will get the download link for the same. So download and install the same and see whether it is working for you or not.
