Wii Sports Resort Preview
One year after it unveiled Wii Sports Resort (it was at E3 2008), Nintendo gives cover to show more about his virtual camp. Today we discover new activities to take advantage of all the new Wii Motion Plus accessory for the console.
A little reminder is needed before embarking on our impressions of Wii Sports Resort. In fact what the Wii Motion Plus. It is a small box that fits directly into the Wiimote (where connects the Nunchuk), which allows the joystick to enjoy a surprising gain in sensitivity. It's simple, thanks to the Wii Motion Plus, every direction you print of the hand or rotations you do with the wrist will be carried over to the screen in a much more precise with a Wiimote without the device. To highlight the Wii Motion Plus, Nintendo has been working on a second version of Wii Sports. As its name suggests, Wii Sports Resort takes place in a vacation resort beautifully located on an island paradise.
Without wasting a second, the game will balance at the heart of the action. Literally. Your character enters into effect on the island parachute. During the descent, you can reflect the accuracy of the Wii Motion Plus in addressing the joystick in one direction or another and find that your Mii follows your movements to the millimeter. Once on the island, you can participate in a dozen activities. Nintendo has released three of them last year (the Frisbee, the duel with sword and jet-ski). Today we learn the others: namely, table tennis, wakeboarding, basketball (of three points), canoeing, golf, archery and bowling.
You will notice in this regard that certain events were already present in Wii Sports first name. But the flexibility and precision offered by the Wii Motion Plus is enough to give a new lease of life to these events and justify their presence in this suite. As in the first game, the tests come in the form of several "levels" increasingly difficult and increasingly physical. Thanks to an ultra-intuitive gameplay and much thought, we quickly took the game and the desire to break records is never far away. Wii Sports Resort will come out this summer and will be sold with the Wii Motion Plus.
