HP Pavilion DV9000 freezing
I am having problems with HP Pavilion DV9000 notebook. Whenever I use it, it freezes all of a sudden. Sometimes this occurs once a week while sometime once a day. Program stops responding and everything freezes. Do you know anything about this problem? Can you help me? Please help!
Re: HP Pavilion DV9000 freezing
The problem comes from the HP laptop and nowhere else. Actually it happens because most of the HP laptop comes with AMD processor and the AMD processor are prone to over heating problems. However this may also be the problem of some spyware, adware or malware activity. You need to find the actual cause of the problem. I would suggest to format the laptop and see if that fixes the problem.
Re: HP Pavilion DV9000 freezing
I think that could be the drivers issue. I would suggest to download the latest drivers for your graphics card, sound card, network card, etc for your laptop from the manufacturer website. Also install the latest updates for your operating system. You may also need to flash your BIOS version.
Re: HP Pavilion DV9000 freezing
Just remove unwanted files, software's installed on your computer. Once done, defragment your hard drive. You can even use Windows Error checking utility to fix some errors such as hard disk clusters which may be causing problems.
If that didn't fixes the problem then its better to contact your HP support team for some solution. You can even contact your system hardware engineer to fix this.
