Need advice on which LCD Monitor to buy

I am a independent professional and i am looking to pick up a FHD LCD monitor (21" or more) that I can use for both personal and professional use.
Since, it's a high-end category, please advice me on the specifications i should go after.

Thanks much for the links.. they were extremely helpful.
I also did a bit of looking around and came across the BenQ E2400HD. It has a 24 inches wide screen, costs around 22K and has a very sleek look :-)
Might just go for this.
