Best Virtual Machine Program

Hi,
I'm new to this virtual machine concept, i haven't used any of them. So i want to start with the best. Which is the best software application for VPC or Virtual machine?

There is Parallels and VMware are also good VPC applications. I have used the Vmware , its easy to use.
