How to play games in Window's Mode
I have some games which in 3d graphic mode and in DOS mode. I want to play those games in windows mode. That means instead of covering the whole screen I want make the game run in a small window on the desktop. My system takes a long time to reload all the screens in full screen mode and then load sounds, etc. I check out in setting but not option like that is given. If anyone knows please post me reply soon.
Re: How to play games in Window's Mode
Normally only old games support the windows mode. Many games do not support. The simple trick you can try by pressing Alt + Enter. If by hitting the key you games comes in a small window mode then those are compatible. Otherwise the game will exit automatically. Also by giving a patch to direct x9 which is mostly used by games can force them to run in windows mode. But i doubt most of the games do not support.

Here is the solution for your query. You can force your some games to run in windows mode. Only those which supports otherwise you game will not run. First place the shortcut of game which you want to play on the desktop. Right click on that. Click on the properties option. Now in the target box you will some lines. Add the this line after that :- window at the end. Click on OK and exit. It you get any error then the game does not support window mode.
Re: How to play games in Window's Mode
Normally many games does not work in windows mode. They will either minimize or shut down. By pressing alt + enter you can determine that. In case of graphic game the quality of 3D rendering services and brightness of the games is affected. In some games in the display setting there is a specific option given for window mode. For DOS base games maximum do not run in windows mode.
