sony ericsson w700i installation issue

heyya i have sony ericsson w700i which i bought 1 year back and i insatlled its pc suite in my laptop it worked just fine..and last week i formatted my notbook because of some problem and when i tried to install the pc suite it's just show the message "FAILURE TO LAUNCH RESOURCES" i restarted and did the same but still am getting the same response ..i want to connect my mobile so that i can take internet on my laptop... my friends suggested me to make a thread..please any body can help me out to over come the issue.??

you can extract the PC Suite.exe file & after you extract it you will see there are other 2 .exe files, one for 32bit & one for 64bit OS. start the appropriate exe file & you won't see this prompt window anymore. good luck

i tried version 2.10.38 to load on Vista but all I get is "Failed to load resource". It would appear that the Sony software identifies Vista as the 64 bit version. By extracting all the files from PC Suite_2.10.38.exe I ended up with:
DeviceData.exe
Drivers.exe
PCSuite.exe
PCSuite64.exe
Setup.exe
Setup.ini
SetupGraphics.dll
SetupResources.dll

I ran PCSuite.exe (on Vista Business) and the install went as smoothly as it did on my XP laptop.

Are you using the right PC suite for the Vista OS that you have? Not sure what you have but make sure that you are using 32bit PCS if that is the vista (32bit) you have and same goes for if you are using Vista 64bit, make sure that PCS can work on that OS.
