Li Ion vs. NiMH which battery is good

Hi friends,

I want to buy battery for my Nikon digital camera, for which i am very much confused i have heard from my friends that Li-Ion is better, but the NiMH is 900 and the Li-Ion is 850 and they both have the same talk and standby time but the Li-Ion.Can anyone suggest me which is the best battery.

Normally battery depends upon how much you are going to use it if you are going to use for longer period of time then i would prefer to buy Li Ion battery because they have two times more energy of NiMH battery.now you need to plan with this battery you want to buy.

If you want to have the best quality of battery for your camera then go for LiIon battery though they are a bit costly then NimH battery.But Li-on cells will give you very low self discharge rate.At the same time you have very limited to 1.5~2C discharge. If using protected cells then you don't have to worry about low voltage.
