E Machine monitor does not display anything

I have 1 or 1,1/2 year old E-Machine monitor, when i purchased this monitor after 6 months it started giving me a problem, i had solved consulting with their customer services, now the new problem has started with the monitor and the problem is that, monitor screen gets divide into 3 colours. (red section) self test, (blue section) check your pc and signal cable, (green section) monitor is working. when i click on green section and continue with my work it gives me unable to process and ask for Go Back, this is strange how do i get rid of this problem.

Please help.

what kind of monitor you are using like whether it is LCD or CRT? It will be much better if you mentioned the model number of the monitor, so someone here can look up what kind of cable and hardware (VGA, HDMI etc), for your problem solution have you check the display-adapter card does it working fine.

I will suggest you to try changing the cord which goes to the power supply generally these kind of problem arises because of power cord or the data cable which goes from the computer to the monitor, or the power cord from the monitor to the wall-socket. Am having little doubt which i wanted to clear out, which cord are you unplugging and plugging the data cable or the power cord?

My E Machine monitor looks like this and my monitor model number is E19T6W 19 Widescreen LCD Monitor, but on an average my power cord seems perfect there is no cracks on it, so if anyone has any suggest please put forward, thanks for your reply.
