I have a computer with Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I have downloaded many Images of Linux operating system. I want to copy the contents of those images so i want to mount those images to a virtual drive. Which is a best and less resource hungry software for Windows Vista Ultimate x64? Thanks for any help!
So far, i have tried Virtual DVD, Nero Image Drive, Daemon Tools and some familiar softwares. All of them worked fine for me. I had issues with Daemon tools on Windows 7, but on Vista everything was perfect. You can try those out...
The best Virtual CD/DVD drive emulator i have used till date is Alcohol 120%. You can try it out first before purchasing it. A trial version is available on the official website. Also it is supported by Vista x64 as well as Windows 7. You can try Magic ISO's plugings they are easy to use too... :thumbup1: :thumbup1:
Well if you need a software that can do everything related to CD/DVD and operations related to them like : Mounting images, burning images, creating images, converting image formats. There is one software i would suggest which is compatible with all the Windows versions with 32-bit and 64-bit editions. UltraISO. Its similar as MagicISO but more simpler and doesn't require any plugin like MagicISO. Also it is not at all resource hog. Hope this helps! :ohyeah: :cool:
