Does vista recognize all 3 cores of phenom
I have Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H motherboard and AMD Phenom II x4 processor. I installed 4 GB Zion DDR 2 - 1066 RAM. When i installed Vista it showed me only one processor and the RAM was shows as 800 instead of 1066. What may be the problem? Can anyone help!?

I suggest you check if all the drivers are installed. This may cause problem. Also check if you have updated the BIOS and the drivers for the AMD processor in installed. :thumbup1:

Thanks for such a quick reply, but i sorted it out myself. I had installed every driver and even updated the BIOS. But i had forgotten to install the chipset drivers. As i installed it after posting for help here, and did a reboot, everything is fine! Thanks!
