Interfacing Toshiba 52rv535u to the computer
I have Toshiba 52rv535u LCD TV and i want to connect it to my CPY ans use it as a Monitor. Can anyone guide me with it? I have four type of interface which i think can be used to interface :
1) VGA in
2) DHMI in
3) AV in
4) S-Video In
I am currently using S-Video out of my graphic Card to connect to s-Video in of the TV, but the Quality is not so impressive. I know i can achieve high quality graphics, but i don't know how i can do it. Can anyone help me with it..!!?
Re: Interfacing Toshiba 52rv535u to the computer
The two easiest way of interfacing the TV to a computer is using VGA in of the TV along with the VGA out of the Graphics card and using S-Video in of the TV and S-Video out of the graphics card. You have used the second way. Well this type of connection is the easiest but the quality is lost as only single cable is used to deliver signal to the screen. I would suggest you to use Composite RGB if possible. This will really improve the graphics.

Instead of using Composite connection [s-video] first update your graphics card driver. Then use the VGA connection on both the side. That is VGA-out from the graphics card and VGA-in of the TV. This will give you a good quality display of the computer screen on your LCD TV. Hope this is of some help to you :thumbup1:
Re: Interfacing Toshiba 52rv535u to the computer
I would suggest you not to use S-Video or RGB type connection. And not even the VGA if using HDMI is possible. HDMI give you extreme high quality video display then composite, s-video, and VGA. Hence the newer graphics card comes with two HDMI output and one s-video output. IF you won't use HDMI input whats the use of HDTV? :ohyeah: :ohyeah:
