Add music in powerpoint presentation

Hello all,
I want to add music or song in my PowerPoint presentation. I have tried everything with no luck. Anyone have any idea to add songs in presentation?

You can get the sound added to the first slide you would like to play it on. Right click on the icon in your presentation, then select "Custom Animation." Go in the "Effects" and set the number of slides for the sound to play. Now your sound will continue to play.

You must convert the file into .wav file to be played in powerpoint presentation. Follow these steps:

• Open powerpoint presentation
• Click on Slide Show
• Then click Slide Transition
• Then select the Sound option
• Browse the file and add it to the slide

Follow the steps given below to add sound in powerpoint:

• Open PowerPoint
• Go to the "Insert" tab
• Select "Movies and Sounds"
• Choose "Sound from File"
• Select "MP3" from the "File Type" list
• Select "Custom Animation" under the "Slide Show"
• Under the "Multimedia Settings" option, choose "While Playing" and "Continue Slide Show"

You can manually select the song for each slide or for whole presentation.
