Uninstall windows update on vista
Windows Vista service packs contain many updates for Windows Vista. Windows Vista is all of such optional updates like list of 14 language packs that I don't need so can some one tell me how can i disable it in order to improve performance?

Open the Control Panel. You can also open the Start Menu, then type appwiz.cpl in the search line and press enter to open the View Installed Updates window in Program and Features. check here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537

To uninstall Windows update go to Programs and Features> use the search box from the Start Menu > Programs and Features window, >select View installed updates >that will show list of installed updates> select the update you want to remove select it > click on Uninstall > Windows Vista will prompt you confirmation window for uninstall the update selected > Click on Yes and the uninstall procedure will start > Depending on the size that will take several minutes.
