Nikon sb-600 speedlight substitute
Hi,
I am new to photography and unfamiliar with proper lighting. I have Nikon D70, My budget is a little tight, but I'd really like to get a flash unit. I am planning to order a sb-600 flash, because many people suggest that but i also want to know about other flash which is compatible with nikon D70. do you have any good suggestion ?
Thank you
Re: Nikon sb-600 speedlight substitute
Most of the flashes which are available in the market will work on nikon D70. But recommend you Nikon SB600 , The one thing you want to make certain of is that the trigger voltage of the flash does not exceed the limit in your D70 manual. Otherwise the flash could damage your camera.
Re: substitute for sb-600 speedlight
Nikon D70 is DSLR camera. I would strongly recommend saving the extra cash and getting an SB600 at the very least. There's really no sensible substitute for using one the strobes that they so perfectly match to their cameras CLS system. Especially since the SB600 is readily available from places like Amazon at very good prices.
Re: Nikon sb-600 speedlight substitute
Buy Sigma EF 500 DG ST its more is more like the SB800, indeed; You may manually dial on the Flasher's body itself, steps of Power-output by 1/1 (full), 1/2 (an half), 1/4, 1/8 and go on. With the ST, every Manual Power-setting has to be done by the Camera body.
Re: Nikon sb-600 speedlight substitute
I had heard more about Nikon SB-600 Speedlight Flash for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras which is really good.
