Windows Movie Maker is not opening video files
I have some video files from my mobile phones and i need to edit it and add some video effects. But when i try to import the files in windows movie maker, it doesn't open. Also i have to force open it as i cannot see the files in the open file explorer window. Is it a problem with my Windows Movie Maker software or is it the problem with my video files? Help guys! I want some basic effects and i'm a noob at editing. Thanks!
Re: Windows Movie Maker is not opening video files
The problem is not of the movie maker nor of the video files. The problem is of compatibility! Windows Movie maker opens all the major and standard video files whil the video files of the mobile phones are 3GP files encoded with Mp3, wav or MP4 audio. 3GP file is not a standard. You will need to convert the videos to any standard format that the Movie Maker understands. All the best! :thumbup1: :thumbup1:
