Re: Overclocking p4 630 cpu
To overclock, you need to gradually increase the fsb of the ram (5 in 5 for example).
When ca crash, you can need to either increase the voltage of the ram
either increase the processor or decrease in the coefficient processor,
either raise the case of ram (eg case 3 instead of case 2.5) and, but I'm not sure, lower the HTT if necessary.
After, you have to do some tests to test the stability of the gear:
OCCT (torture test)
memtest
and do not hesitate to watch the temperature via:
Everest
Speed Fan.
Re: Overclocking p4 630 cpu
I am sure, its bec of vCore, as its has already been said, 50 ° for a P4 but it's nothing against, 1.65V is too ... if you continnue you will have a celeron.
For my part I keep a 630 equals a 4.2 but as it is stable on my machine, the vCore should not exceed 1.5V on a P4 series 6xx on the stroke.
I think the opposite is not your CPU to its limit but your motherboard, that I know well, has reached its limits
Think a block of the PCI bus frequency 33.33 MHz and a RAM allows the sync possible if you want to boost perfection.
