Re: Differences between Ganged Mode and Unganged Mode
According to my best of knowledge the classic ganged mode provides the fastest memory access in single-threaded applications, while the unganged mode is called to improve the performance of multi-threaded software.
Re: Differences between Ganged Mode and Unganged Mode
Ganged Mode is nothing but a dual channel mode used for Ram. In Ganged Mode all cores get access to 100% of the ram. Whereas in Unganged Mode it has only a single channel mode for ram, where only each ore gets access to a stick of ram. In theoretical view, unganged mode is considered to be the better one, because in each core data can be access quickly.

You will get the option in the BIOS menu on your computer which allows you to select between Ganged and Unganged mode for your computer. You will find most of the applications running with Unganged mode, as it is the best option.
