Canon HF10: burn mts to DVD
I have Canon HF10 camcorder which was gifted by my friends. I have a lot of video shooting in this camcorder which I want to empty by moving them to DVD so that I can see it in future. But my problem is that I am unable burn these video shooting onto dvd.
All the video files are in mts format. I tried it using Nero but no go. Is this possible? Is there any tool or some tips to write all these files on DVD?

MTS format is a high-definition MPEG, AVC, H.264 transport stream video file format which commonly used by HD camcorders such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic. These files are also present on Blu-ray disc compilations, therefore they are capable of storing quite a large amount of information and data tracks. Re: Canon HF10: burn mts to DVD
There is no way to convert .mts to DVD. If you still try this you will just lose quality. However if you want to avoid this try converting it to HD DVD or Blu-Ray DVD format. You just need to write the files in the proper format for the high definition DVD player to recognize it.

Hi there,
For me, I was looking for a way to compress your HD videos for burning into a SD DVD so that I could share the videos with your family and friends via DVD player. Thanks to Google, I easily got a bunch of MTS Converters and picked seveal of them, tested and finally I chose Aunsoft MTS Converter. The reason that I chose this one is that this software works very well in editing and converting every camcorder videos like my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 digital camera. Moreover, it supports many common and strange video formats. Of course, this output video quality is excellent. So, I hope my suggestion will also help you guys.
Awaiting your good news,
Alice
