suggest me a voice recording software for windows

I want to know how to record voice?
I have windows XP installed on my computer.
Please suggest me a good voice recording software for windows.

Why you want software for this?
You can do this in windows itself!
Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment and select Sound Recorder.
This is a best you without any third part software you can record voice in windows.

Well I know windows can record sound but its not what i like. According to me there are number of various freewares available for the same purpose.
I like audacity though. I also use MP3 Recorder Studio.

I use ROXIO software for my XP Media...
audacity is best.
VRS, Express Dictate, RecordPad, WavePad, MSRS, AudioTime, MixPad are some other softwares.
