How to clean a ps3

Hi,

I want to know how to clean ps3 manually, My PS3 has dust inside the ventilation holes. I also want to clean the ps3 drive. and if i give it for servicing then how much it will cost ? What is the best way to prevent and clean the dust from my PS3 ?

Why you are not using the PSP cleaning cloth. You should have a ps3 cleaning kit which comes free with the PS3. Although it does an ok job, but its the most reliable to clean your ps3. why you want to clean the disk drive ? dont use any cd or a dvd cleaner it may create problem in reading the dvd or cd.

If your PS3 is under warranty then you must send it to sony playstation service center. or use a lint-free cloth to clean the system itself & I use canned air for the vents. I also keep the PS3 covered with a soft towel when it's not in use.
