I have a sharp TV which i used with my latop as a secondary screen. But now i have a new desktop and my nvidia card doesn't detect the EDID of my Sharp TV. It did when i connected it to samsung TV. Can anyone help in configure it? Thanks

The first thing i would suggest you to try is, update your nvidia driver to the latest. Then restart the desktop computer. Now again shutdown the computer and connect the TV. Now firt switch ON the TV and then switch ON the PC. Do you see the BIOS screen on the TV? If you get the BIOS screen and don't get the OS section on the TV, then it has something to do with the OS or driver configuration. :thumbup1:
Sometimes when the first TV is connected, it saves the EDID info in the registry and uses it for the later use. This is common with nVidia drivers. So nVidia provids the Setup Secondary Monitor Wizard. You can try using that. You can access it from nvidia control panel. All the best!
If you are good at soldering, you can try this : You need a spare cable that connects to the TV composite. Cut the plug that switches to TV and get a 75 ohms resistor to act as a load provided by TV. This should send fake EDID info to the graphics card. Now start your computer to see the change and again reboot and try to connect the actually TV. :thumbup1:
